Free cognitive tests and IQ tools
Small, exact tools built on the same psychometrics as the rest of the site. Every one reports a percentile rather than a bare number, because a score means nothing until you know what share of people it puts you above.

OpenWorking memoryDigit Span Test

OpenScore conversionIQ Percentile Calculator
Convert any IQ score into its percentile rank, rarity and classification, with the confidence interval around it. Works in reverse, and converts between the SD 15, SD 16 and SD 24 scales.
OpenWhy a percentile, not a score
A digit span of 7 and an IQ of 115 have something in common: neither means anything on its own. Both are only interpretable against a distribution. 7 digits is a little above the adult average of just under 7; an IQ of 115 is the 84th percentile. The percentile is the part carrying the information.
That is what these tools do differently. Plenty of sites will tell you that you remembered 8 digits. Far fewer will tell you what share of adults manage 8, which norms that comes from, or how wide the uncertainty around it is.
These measure one thing each
A full-scale IQ score comes from verbal, numerical, spatial and memory reasoning together. Our 50-question assessment covers all four and gives you a score, your exact percentile, and a breakdown of where you are strongest.
